Hypocrisy of facebook

Facebook, a leading social media with the world’s biggest users, does unfairness to treat people in Ukraine and Palestine. This can be seen in its response to Ukraine people considered as victims of Russia invasion and how its treatment in the same case when Israel has been invading and colonising Palestine. 

The giant social media gives special rule for Ukraine by allowing all people, not only in Ukraine, to use this platform for sharing and campaigning hatred for Russia, including Russians who do not involve in conflict. What the rule does cannot apply for Palestine which has the same problem even this country has been colonised for 74 years.

The fact of the platform has exposed the hypocritical face of western society. I call “western society” because many of whom do the same in some forms such as treating in different ways between refugees of Ukraine and Middle East. It is tragic. 

All this time, many of western society either its government or society including its businesses, proclaim themselves as the only civilised society who has a high moral and right to teach people about humanity. They declare that democracy is an ideal system to be applied to all countries and all societies even they do “false flag” operation to apply democracy system within targeted country considered as uncivilised country. 

Meanwhile, not all societies can totally adopt the west’s vesion’s democracy because of distinction of characteristics of society. The instance of how they do the false flag operation is that America with support of its allies had invaded Iraq under Presiden Sadam Husein with pretext of annihilating weapons of mass destruction. Unfortunately, the weapon is nothing and many people died and have been suffering because of the invasion as well as the following impact of it. 

I don’t know why facebook decides discriminatively in terms of taking care on both victims of invasion. Presumably, both societies/countries are in different regions. One is in the Middle East and another is in Europe. The founder and owner of facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, is a western person with American nationality. Because of this identity, according to many people, he implements his regulation just for his western people. It is racism. 

On one side, in many occasions, he repeatedly urged to enforce humanity under democracy through his facebook. People are suggested to function his social media to campaign and to share all things related to humanity enforcement. All injustice in all forms should be annihilated. But, his claim and promise are different when they come to reality.

Some racisms of western people are notoriously exposed in some western mass media coverages. Their journalist compared refugees of Ukraine to the Middle East with analogy of being civilised and uncivilised respectively. Also, another example is when a reporter reports a condition in the field by saying “This is an advanced country, not a developing country. This is in Europe. This is a place for civilised people, not in the Middle East or Africa”. It is more or less what she said.  

Some people argue, in response to the Zuckerberg's policy, that the decision is hard to separate from religion and ethnic identity of him. The reason why Palestine is experiencing discriminated treatment by facebook bacause mostly Palestine people are muslim adherents. Meanwhile, zuckerberg is jew who psychologically will stand with Israel’s colonisation over Palestine. 

Perhaps, he is part of world network in zionis jews organisations which want to take over all Palestine land into their hands, with all ways in spite of suppressing Palestine. As we know, Israel is home to majority of jew in the world. Moreover, zelensy, current Ukraine president, is also a jew in which in his twitter account he ever supported invasion of israel to Palestine.

Yet, with this war, double standard of the west is getting revealed step by step. People across the world will degrade them in various aspects such as ideology, economy and human rights. Ideologically, people are not attracted to the west’s version of democracy. 

In the economy, other countries would be careful to deal with them in any economy agreement because in days to come, it is possible that the west will abandon or impose sanctions on them if they don’t follow its political interest. Lastly, the human right value of west is not a role model because the double standard in implementation which is depended on their interest.
